percentage of grant for State Agriculture Mechanization Scheme
- Small and marginal farmers, SC/ST and women farmers get 50 percent subsidy and other farmers get 40 percent subsidy.
- But in case of Rice Mill, Dal Mill, Packing Machine, Grinder/Pulverizer/Polisher, there is 60 percent subsidy for Low/Very Low/Women/Aj/Aja and 50 percent for other beneficiaries.
- GST amount is not assumed for subsidy.
- Similarly, Grants are available up to 40 percent, of Rs 24 lakhs.

- A farmer should have 7/12 extract and 8 A
- Farmer Ans. Caste certificate is required if belonging to caste, sub-tribe
- Subsidy will be payable for only one implement i.e. tractor or machine/implement
- If a family member owns a tractor, he/she will be eligible for the benefit for tractor-driven implements but proof of ownership of the tractor must be attached.
- If the benefit is availed for a component / tool, application cannot be made for the same component / tool for the next 10 years but can be applied for another tool.
- E.g. A farmer who has been given benefit for tractor in 2018-19 will not be eligible for benefit for tractor for the next 10 years and will be eligible for benefit for other implements in 2019-20

- Farmers can fill this application on their mobile/laptop as well as at CSC Centre/ Sangram Kendra in Gram Panchayat. On this website the option “Shetkari Yojana” is to be selected. Farmers have the option to register as “Individual Beneficiaries” as well as “Farmer Groups/FPOs/Cooperatives”. First you have to create your username and password to open your account. And then login and apply for the required components. A total online fee of Rs.20 and GST Rs.3.60 is to be paid for the application for Rs.23.60.
- If the farmers face any problem while applying or have any suggestions, they can register their suggestions by clicking on the “Complaint/Suggestion” button on the MahaDBT portal.
How is beneficiary selection done?
- The combined online draw for all schemes is done through the computerized system. Selected farmers will receive an SMS on their mobile. Beneficiaries who have not been selected and are in the waiting list, if they wish to avail the benefit for the same in the next year, they should select the option to accept the previous year’s application on the Mahadebit portal. They do not need to reapply.
- The application and documents of the farmer are scrutinized online and the pre-consent order is given online to the eligible farmers and an SMS regarding the same is sent to the mobile phone of the farmer. The pre-approval order will be available to farmers in their login on MahaDBI portal. They can enter their user ID and password to view pre-approved orders.
- Similarly, the beneficiary farmers will receive SMS at various stages of application.
